The BLUE FLAME 8.2m high performance sports cruiser racer (now known as the YY27)

YY27 is a new design which further develops the BLUEMOTION 550 hull shape to a larger, offshore-capable vessel. She is very light, but will meet the requirements of RCD Category B (Offshore: winds up to force 8 and waves up to 4m). The boat is planned for commercial production with high specification glass/epoxy/foam composite construction. The prototype was launched in April 2015.

YY27 is designed to be raced by a maximum of 4 crew offshore and 6 round the buoys. The boat has 2 berths, with full standing headroom in the aft part of the cabin and with her fully retracting centreboard and light weight is readily trailable.

The vessel is marketed by Yaxley Yachts as the YY 27.
