Complete sets of plans for the Hazardous 140 and 170 Merlin Rocket dinghies are available from the designer in 2 formats

1. Electronic format.
   Sent via the Internet, as AutoCad files. The larger sheets can the be printed off at your local print shop (A3 and A0 printer/plotter required), though many sheets are A4 size and in .pdf format, so can be printed on your PC printer. The price for electronic plans is £70 ($140, €98).
2. Paper format.
   Printed plans, despatched by First Class recorded delivery to UK mainland. The price for this option is £95 ($190, €133). Other destinations (via Air Mail), £8 ($16, €11) extra.

The plans consist of about 30 sheets, including full size frame drawings, and fully defined shapes for planks, decks, bulkheads centreboard case and other major components. Most of the sheets are the more handy A3 or A4 size, but full size frame and bulhead drawings are A0. Also included are construction notes, latest Class Rules, and rig setup and tuning advice.

The price includes the licence to build one boat and free of charge comprehensive support for you during the planning and building of your boat. For each subsequent boat built to the same set of plans, the design royalty/licence fee is £65 ($130, €90).

A full kit of plywood parts is being developed in conjunction with JORDAN BOATS.
